December 10th Human Rights Day

Created December 10th, 1948 by the United Nations, today we celebrate Human Rights, not only in our own country, but across the world.

According to the UN, “the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR): (is) a milestone document proclaiming the inalienable rights which everyone is inherently entitled to as a human being regardless of race, colour, religion, sex, language, political or other opinion, national or social origin, property, birth or other status. Available in more than 500 languages, it is the most translated document in the world.”

Everyone needs to have freedom, equality, and dignity!

How to celebrate – Find ways you can make a difference. Stop worrying about yourself. Visit the UN in New York.
