What makes a hamburger better? Cheese! Now you can add all sorts of stuff to top off your hamburger, lettuce, tomato, onions, ketchup, mustard, mayo… well you get the idea, just about anything. But by adding cheese you just seem to complete the package! It doesn’t even matter what kind of cheese it is! Swiss, cheddar, American, provolone, or even go off the board by choosing a cheese you can’t even pronounce! And with the end of summer you may just get your last chance to grill that burger outdoors! Of course if you are lactose intolerant you may want to skip the cheese but for the rest of us… the more cheese the better!
How to celebrate – Have a cheeseburger. Experiment with the cheese of your choice. Add the cheese into the hamburger mixture to let it soak in.
We all know about the Declaration of Independence but one of the more important documents drawn up by the founding fathers is the Constitution, and most of us are less understanding of it. Today, in 1787 Congress began its drafting of the Constitution; finally completing it on March 4th 1789. Since then it has gone through many amendments, adjusting those original thoughts and laws as set up by the first vote. There have been 27 amendments and there will continue to be amendments as society changes. However, to think, that over 200 years only 27 original thoughts and regulations have been made is rather amazing. Guess our founding fathers really did know what they were doing!

Some people collect paintings, some collect books, others collect old coins, and some collect antiques. Well, if you don’t have that sort of money, maybe you can collect rocks. Or if you do have money you can collect a different type of rock! Rocks are interesting, they have been around for a long, long time and have seen a lot more of what happens in life than we ever will. Some may have been a part of the Great Wall of China once, or a pebble that got inside Napoleon’s shoe. They may have even come from the moon, or a passing comet. The fact is, that rocks may have seen more history than we ever will, or even than mankind ever will. So collect rocks and be proud of it! Others may say it’s because you are cheap, but you’ll know better.

I know most husbands appreciate their wives, they just don’t show it much, if at all. They’ll get them flowers for Mother’s Day and Chocolates for Valentine’s Day, but what do they get them for just being there? Sure, they may talk a lot and have a never ending list of chores for you to do. Maybe they don’t like your jokes, and maybe they make you get dressed up and go places you don’t want to go. So what do you give them? Your dirty clothes, expect dinner on time, and want them to answer your most secret desires. Sounds like a fair trade out! (just kidding,).
